I’m a senior software engineer with game development as a hobby. With long experience from developing complex software I understand the challenges of software development. Having worked as a Scrum master I know how handle those challenges and take a project from idea to a working product.
I’ve been using Unity for a decade, and found my favorite assets to extend the engine. At this point I feel confident in working on just about any type of game.
Racing/Driving games
Off Road Driving
I do enjoy off road driving games. Here’s an attempt at a realistic one. Terrain generated with Procedural worlds Gaia, then added some props using Unitys editor and Grabbit.
The car is handled by NWH Vehicle Physics and this remains my favorite asset for creating a realistic driving experience.

Off road challenge
An arcade style off road game that I made for a game jam hosted by procedural worlds, so naturally the terrain is created using Gaia. I only made some small adjustments to create a driveable path through the world.
For the vehicle controller I used Edy’s Vehicle Physics which is my favorite for arcade style racing. In this case I had to add a few extensions to EVP to make it behave the way I wanted, in particular keeping the truck stable while in air.
My final submission to the jam can be downloaded here.
No Road

Another game created using Gaia and EVP. My main focus for this game was developing an AI for racing the opponents. I used A* pathfinding project for the pathfinding, since even the free version is superior to Unitys built in system. Then Opsives Behavior Designer to build a decision tree for the AI. Once I had the basics up and running I added machine learning capabilities for the AI to race and train itself. The learning ended up being a time consuming process since Unitys physics behave differently if you speed up time. Thus for the AI to improve its driving it has to learn at normal speed.
Rapid prototyping
I love to see results and using Unity with the right assets makes prototyping a breeze. In this video I make a quick prototype of a third person open world game.
In addition to Unity I used Procedural worlds Gaia, Opsives Third person controller, Grabbit, Synty studios Polygon Nature pack, and Polygon Sci-Fi Space
